Prof. Petros Maragos was invited as a Keynote Speaker at the 2025 Greeks-in-AI Symposium, Athens, Greece. His Keynote speech on the 20th July 2025, entitled "Robot Perception  and Multimodal AI”, was attended by conference participants with physical and remote presence. Prof. Petros Maragos was invited as a Tutorial Speaker at the AIDA Symposium and Summer School on ‘AI/ML Cutting Edge Trends' (AIDA AICET2025),  jointly organized by the Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Academy (AIDA) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.  His tutorial, entitled  "Tropical Algebra and Geometry for Machine Learning and Optimization”, was given on the 16th July 2025 and was attended by conference participants with physical and remote presence.
